Working Hours: Normally 9 Hours, beyond 09 Hours you will be entitle to get overtime payout $ 5-7 per Hour.
Week Off: There is No week off, you will get Time Off
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract for Nine Months
This is renewable Contract it will be renewed after Nine months.
Cruise Name and Route: Now this is the combine hiring for multiple cruises. Your Joining Cruise’s name and route will be mentioned in your joining letter.
Cost and Charges: You have to bear only your medical cost which is also refundable with your first month salary. You have to do your medical checkup from DGFT authorized hospital only.
Processing Time: From Interview to Joining Letter/Visa, it will take two months time.

Description: The First Engineer is in charge of engine watch-keeping. He/she is responsible for the daily maintenance and operations of the engineering and technical aspects of the vessel as directed by The Chief Engineer and Staff Engineer.

Responsibilities
· Assists the Chief Engineer and ensures that the machinery and equipment under the responsibility of the Engine Department are properly maintained;
· Operates and maintains the main engine and associated auxiliaries;
· Perform navigational and anchor watch keeping;
· Carries out work and rationalization plans required for understanding present conditions of the machinery and equipment under the responsibility of the Engine Department;
· Personally operate the main engine while being tested and direct the maintenance of important parts;
· Reports to the Chief Engineer deficiencies found in the machinery and equipment;
· Help the Chief Engineer monitor the consumption of ship stores under the responsibility of the Engine Department;
Requirements
· Experience as a first engineer or a second engineer on board ships
· Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering from accredited maritime school or equivalent
· Excellent verbal and written command of the English language
