Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract for Nine Months
This is renewable Contract it will be renewed after Nine months.
Cruise Name and Route: Now this is the combine hiring for multiple cruises. Your Joining Cruise’s name and route will be mentioned in your joining letter.
Cost and Charges: You have to bear only your medical cost which is also refundable with your first month salary. You have to do your medical checkup from DGFT authorized hospital only.
Processing Time: From Interview to Joining Letter/Visa, it will take two months time.

Description: Duties and functions the main duty of a second engineer on board a ship is to schedule and direct maintenance inside the engine room. As the chief may not be able to be in the engine room every day, due to paperwork or meetings, it is the second engineer's responsibility to report on the plant conditions and needs.

Responsibilities
· The 2nd Engineer’s duties include reporting to Chief Engineer for the day-to-day work of the engine room department.
· On liquefied Gas Carriers where a Gas Engineer is also carried, some of the maintenance responsibilities mentioned below are to be transferred to the Gas Engineer.
· 2nd Engineer must keep the Chief Engineer fully informed about any concerns regarding their responsibilities.
· 2nd Engineer’s duties consist of carrying out watch keeping as per schedule.
· 2nd Engineers have to attend stand-by duties during arrival and departure ports.
· They are responsible for cargo-related machinery and systems for example, ballast water treatment system, ballast system valves, and pumps, cranes or gantries, auxiliary engines, etc.
Requirements
· Valid CoC Chief Engineer, issued by a recognized administration
· Valid Assistant Maintenance Supervisor
· Documented minimum 24 months practical experience as Engineer from mobile units.
· Documented good all-round competence relating to the platform’s different systems with particular emphasis on all
· Technical systems. Management experience and competence required.
· Completed training in the company's governing documentation.
· In compliance to the flag State competence requirements and documentation.
· Fluent written/oral English language.
